Houndstooth

Description

This steep route leads to the top of that molar of granite that many see, but only some ascend. Starting at the Ferguson Canyon Trailhead, the wide path leads to an enormous water tank. A right turn (just before the storage tank) onto a steep single track climbs to, then follows the ridge to the large rock feature called the Houndstooth. The final section is a steep gully to the summit. The steep switchbacked descent is a riot.
