Description

The Kona to Mauna Kea Sea-to-Summit 100km (plus a bit): The route starts at the Ironman Championship start line at the beach in Kona and ends at the summit of Mauna Kea, the highest point in the state of Hawaii. It is 63.5 miles with about 15,000’ of total vertical gain and a final elevation of 13,800’. 100% of the route is running/hiking along public roads, and there is no race site that tracks this route, so it meets the basic qualifications for an FKT route.

Description

The Brabants Vennenpad is a beautiful route through the Kempen and the Meijerij. This regional path takes you around Eindhoven, walk along the Brabant fens, across the Strabrechtse Heide, through the Dommeldal, the Kampina, the Utrecht estate and the Malpie. These beautiful nature reserves are quickly linked together by old-fashioned dirt roads, straight through the old cultural-historical landscape. The Brabants Vennenpad is a route of 258 kilometers and shows what remained and what has changed due to the economic success of the south.
