First, the trail climbs uphill along a gravel path; then you’ll reach a cute little mountain hut before the very steep, technically challenging ascent begins. There are large, loose rocks, and at the very top, a narrow path winds its way through the vegetation. Once you’ve reached the first summit (Gennerhorn), the route continues with a short, equally technical descent featuring huge steps and tree roots. This is followed by a second short climb, somewhat similar to the first, followed by a short descent like the first.
