Fist attempt: Fail. Got to mile 10 with a heart rate over 185 on downhills. Couldn't get the HR below 120 even after several minutes of rest. Heat and too many calories too quickly was the culprit. Poor management of nutrition. Will attempt again… read more »

The comment clearly states "identified on the FKT page". Obviously countless people have hiked the entire trail alone, even with pre planted supply drop. Emma Timmis record was not published on the Site at the time of posting that comment.
