The Buller Huts Trail is your opportunity to independently experience the best of the Victorian Alps. Offering breathtaking scenery and a true sense of remoteness, the Buller Huts Trail commences on Mount Buller, high in the Victorian Alps and traverses some of Victoria’s most spectacular mountain summits and historic high country huts.
This iconic route crosses both the Carquinez Bridge and the Benicia-Martinez Bridge and roughly follows the coastlines on either side of the Carquinez Straight to create a 30+ mile loop. Some of the trails utilized include: Carquinez Straight Trail, San Francisco Bay Trail, Bay Area Ridge Trail, George Miller Regional Trail, & Bull Valley Trail.
The Catamount Trail in Vermont is a well-established, 315 mile XC/BC Ski route that travels the entire length of Vermont. The Catamount Trail Organization maintains and governs the trail. It begins at the Massachusetts border on Sherman Reservoir and ends at the Canadian Border near Jay, VT.
