Description

This route takes in all of the welsh 3000s but in a non traditional way of north to south making the tallest section the last and with a final summit of Snowdon. This route also is from road to road, rather than peak to peak.

From the first peak of 15 the route follows the traditional welsh 3000s in reverse across the Carneddau Range taking in 7 of the 3000 ft peaks, the last being Pen Y Old Wen, where the route descends into Ogwen valley all the time you have Tryfan staring at you as the next ascent.

Person-Person

It’s no secret that the FKT craze has skyrocketed over the past few years. What started as a niche concept relegated to the most quirky of already quirky mountaineers and thru-hikers has spread to every corner of the earth, garnering mainstream attention and sponsor support along the way. While the FKT community remains objectively fringe and tight-knit, it’s also somewhat unrecognizable from the obscure motley crew it once was.
