Bitsa & Butovo Parks (Russia)

Description

The route consists of two parts. The first is a run around one of the largest forest parks in Moscow, Bitsevsky Park. The second is Butovo Park, separated from the first part of the Moscow Ring Road, but previously being the same forest area. The second part is interesting for the hills, along which ski slopes pass in winter. The two parts of the route are connected by a safe overground pedestrian crossing across the Moscow Ring Road. There are springs in both the northern and southern parts of the route.

During the Japanese Occupation of North Borneo in 1942, Yamazaki Kenji, the Japanese Prefecture Governor in Keningau the Interior Residency under West Coast Governorates of Seikei Shiu, wish to win the heart and mind of a North Borneo people by focusing on the infrastructure developments and making a documentary films of the sacred Mount Kinabalu.

Description

The Phoenix Phearsome Phour route links up 4 prominent peaks in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve: Camelback Mountain, Piestewa Peak, North Mountain, and Shaw Butte. Starting at Camelback and finishing at Shaw Butte, this route is the most direct to summit all 4 peaks while running almost entirely on trails. With over 20 miles and 5500' of elevation gain and descent, this route tours the must-do climbs in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve in one point to point run.

Beara Way (Ireland)

Description

The Beara Way is a 128 mile long distance trail. This beautiful circular trail begins and ends in Glengarriff and goes around the Beara Peninsula. The Beara Way offers an outstanding scenic route which can be cycled or walked. The loop also circumnavigates Bere Island and is part of the Beara Breifne Way. The trail takes approximately 9 days to complete by walkers and offers an exceptional experience. There are a number of plaques along the Beara Way and as you walk the Beara section of the Beara Breifne Way you can also collect your Breifne Way passport stamps.
