Kwan Phayao Lake loop (Thailand)

Description

Kwan Phayao is located in Muang District, Phayao Province, it is  largest freshwater lake in the north region of Thailand.

There are lot of attraction points in this area. Including natural parks, Kwan Phayao is a beautiful places and a heart of Phayao province.

A good start and finish point is at the  municipality courtyard area. Follow the path to the north first, then turn left at "Wat Rong Ha" Intersection and run along the Kwan Phayao route with  beautiful view until finish route. 

Santiago de Compostela; Compostela del Norte (Spain)

Description

The route to Santiago de Compostela via the north side along the coast for 844 km. People walk this route as pelgrims to pray and find spiritual enlightenment but more recently runners found their way on this path. While regarded by many as “not the true way” of travelling to the holy church, it is considered by many runners as the way of finding actual enlightenment by testing the body as extreme exhaustion and fatigue play a major role.

Hankinson Hills Loop (ND)

Description

This part of the country is not known for its trails or hills. The Hankinson Hills should be an exception to this. These beautiful sandy hills are part of the Sheyenne National Grassland. They are open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The Hankinson Hills Loop is a 7.8 mile loop with 430 feet of elevation gain. There are 4 trailheads on the loop and 1 campground. The well maintained trail can get sandy in places but in general it is beautiful flowy singletrack through oak trees and prairie.

Lopburi - Khao Wong Phra Chan Uphill and Downhill Path (Thailand)

Description

Khao Wong Phrachan is located 28 km. From the district of Muang Lop Buri and is the highest mountain peak in Lopburi province. This peak is about 650 meters above sea level.

Both side of this path full with trees and slope area and top of this mountain is a temple and beautiful lookout. This is one of the popular uphill and downhill path in the central region of Thailand. Especially for trail runners.

Starting from the entrance of Khao Wong Phrachan and keep running along the path (Approximately 3790 steps) until you reached the top.

 

 

Drei-Kaiserberge-Tour (Germany)

Description

This is a popular and quite challenging hiking roundtrip at northern Swabian Alb, near the cities of Göppingen in Fils Valley and Schwäbisch Gmünd in Rems Valley. It crosses the famous and very distinctive „Drei Kaiserberge“: Hohenstaufen, Stuifen and Rechberg.

Usually it’s done anti-clockwise. It starts and ends at Hohenstaufen Youth Hostel, close to the top of Hohenstaufen Mountain.
