Description

The Longs Peak Picnic is an adventure "triathlon" conceived by Tatiana Kennedy and Daniel Peterson, involving cycling from Boulder, CO to the Longs Peak trailhead, swimming across the frigid Chasm Lake, navigating to the summit of Longs Peak, and then reversing it back to the starting point in Boulder.

This route was partly inspired by the popular 'Grand Teton Picnic', a route between Jackson, WY and the summit of the Grand Teton, similarly involving cycling, swimming, and running/low fifth class climbing.
