Turn Around as you reach top of path. 
 

Historic route with a lot of history. Signs along the way and well marked lots of history.

This is a great out and back trail that starts at the Short Sands Trail - South Trailhead and goes up and over Neahkahnie and down the south side. There are steep climbs and many technical rooty and rocky sections that make it a worthy FKT route. il sentiero CAI 001 della provincia di Piacenza è il più lungo sentiero escursionistico di montagna della provincia di Piacenza, collega Rivergaro con il passo dello Zovallo, se percorso in direzione nord-sud ha 3783 m di dislivello positivo e 2932 m di dislivello negativo, percorrendo per gran parte lo spartiacque tra la valtrebbia e la valnure. Ad oggi non si trovano notizie di tentativi ufficiali ma secondo me rispetta il criterio di storicità e preesistenza del percorso escursionistico.
