Elfbergenpad, circular trail, start and finish in Wageningen, 85 km

Elfbergenpad means "path of the eleven mountains". "Mountain" is a an exaggeration, when speaking of hills only 50 meters high. But in the Netherlands, 50 meters is a lot.

Der Wasserkuppenrundweg

At 950 m the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hessen and the Rhön. The 39 km circular hiking trail around the Wasserkuppe offers many scenic highlights such as the Fulda spring, the Red Moor, the Wachtküppel, the Guckaisee, the Pferdskopf (875m) and of course the Wasserkuppe (950m)!

Altitude difference: 1237 m

Route marking: The Wasserkuppe circuit is marked throughout with a black "W" on a white mirror.

Myalls to Tops Heritage Walk

Starting high in the majestic Barrington Tops World Heritage mountain forests and finishing at sea level in the stunning coastal Myall Lakes area, the Tops to Myalls Heritage Walk is a feast for Runners and hikers. At only 300km north of Sydney, Australia, the 200km long trail rarely touches bitumen and takes you through Snow gums and towering Antarctic beech forests of the Tops, through extensive native state forests to coastal heaths, littoral rainforest of the Myall Lakes then finally vast deserted beach dunescapes before the finish at the sleepy town of Hawks Nest.
