Eden Valley Walk (United Kingdom)

Description

The route was officially created by Kent County Council in 1991. It is just under 15 miles that starts by Cernes Farm in Edenbridge and finishes outside Tonbridge Castle at High Street Tonbridge. There are many gates to open and stiles to cross, with some sharp inclines and declines along the way. You will pass through parkland, woodland and open fields, under some railway lines and major roads, and follow sections of the River Medway. Try not to scare the sheep or the fishermen.

Description

The Soonwaldsteig is an approximately 83 km long long-distance hiking trail. The trail leads from Kirn in the Hahnenbach Valley on wooded quartzite ridges down through the romantic Rhine Valley to Bingen. More than 40 km of the 85 km long Soonwaldsteig trail in the area of Großer Soon and Lützelsoon mountains is uninhabited and only crosses small, seldom used roads.
