Beach to El Toro summit

Description

I'm submitting this route which I completed last weekend in less than 6 hours and expect some of you out there to decimate my record in half.
El Toro is the highest summit on the East side of the Island and the highest summit of El Yunque rainforest.
This route starts on the Ocean at La Pared beach, more specifically right in front of La Tintorera sculpture.  Why this sculpture?  Because it is an obvious landmark point of reference to start.

Rakiura

Description

Located on Stewart Island/Rakiura, the circular route starts and finishes at Oban Bay. It can be completed in either direction.

The track itself is primarily single track, climbs over forested ridges and traverses sheltered coastline, with a few short beach sections and the beginning and end being on tarmac to complete the loop.
It is well marked and signposted. Some sections are steep and can get very muddy.

The Beacon Way

Description

The Beacon Way is a 22 mile point to point multi terrain route in the West Midlands.

This green route is from Sandwell at the heart of the West Midlands conurbation, and goes via the outskirts of Birmingham through the countryside of Walsall and into Staffordshire. The walk takes in the Forest of Mercia, lakes, nature reserves, woods, and the banks of canals. Barr Beacon, one of the highest hills in this area, gives its name to the route. The northern end links with the Heart of England Way and the Two Saints Way at the top of Gentleshaw Common.
